Reframe. Resolve. Rewire.
Re  ∕∕ wire is an independent research collective for people doing research on their own time. We share resources, review each other's work, pursue funding for compute and conferences, and build the connections that make serious research possible outside of a day job.
Re  ∕∕ search
Members bring their own questions and run their own projects, but nobody works in isolation. The collective provides what a lab normally would: people to bounce ideas off, honest readers for your drafts, and collaborators who genuinely care about getting it right. Each member pursues their own research themes, from causality to deep learning on tabular data. The point is simple: good research needs a community around it, even when that community is built informally.
Research themes →Re  ∕∕ write
This covers the whole pipeline from a rough idea to a published paper. Members proofread and co-author each other's work. We help navigate submission, revision, and camera-ready formatting. When a member cannot attend a conference in person, we try to find someone in the collective who can present on their behalf. We also pursue funding collectively so that cost is never the reason good work stays in a drawer.
Publications →Re  ∕∕ connect
A regular meetup keeps the collective alive and honest. We invite outside researchers for talks, feedback, and fresh perspectives. Re  ∕∕ connect is also where new collaborations start: a researcher with an idea meets an engineer with free evenings, or someone with access to GPUs finds a project worth running on them. This is how Re  ∕∕ wire grows and stays dynamic.
